Not a video course or a generic chatbot

Lessons are composed for the exact concept you want to learn and for your learning profile. Server-graded quizzes measure the result and change what comes next.

The knowledge graph is the product

Every concept has a place on the map. Prerequisites guide rather than lock, placement tests record what you know, and review timing follows a forgetting curve.

Step-by-step homework help

Send a problem as text or a photo. Smartta explains the solution in stages and, when appropriate, lets you solve each step yourself with guidance.

For students, parents, and schools

Students follow a personal path; linked parents see a progress overview; schools use classes and LTI to access clearly limited learning reports.

Frequently asked questions

How is this different from asking a chatbot?

A chatbot answers. Smartta keeps your prerequisite map and mastery model, so it knows where a concept sits on your path and when to review it.

Is the content pre-recorded?

No. Each lesson is composed for that node and your learner profile, then saved — revisits are free. Human-approved resources are woven into the same lesson.

How do you know learning actually happened?

End-of-lesson quizzes are graded server-side and feed the mastery engine directly. Self-reported “I know this” is only a fallback.

Do I have to start from the beginning?

No. Prerequisites are advice, not locks — a placement test can clear a whole chain at once.

Can schools use it?

Yes — LTI 1.3 launch from Moodle or Canvas, plus a read-only parent portal.
